How to become Accredited
The designers, manufacturers, and constructors involved in offsite manufactured systems are rigorously audited and assessed to ensure that the construction systems validated for integrity, durability and performance are delivered using process which conform to current good/best practice in order to ensure they consistently meet customer expectations.
How to apply and what happens next
Once you have completed and returned the application form, the following will happen:
- Lloyd's Register and BLP will make contact separately to carry out the appropriate gap analysis and assessment on behalf of BOPAS
- Upon satisfactory completion of assessments, the BOPAS website will be updated with the manufacturer / constructor details together with associated construction details and approved sites.
- Manufacturer/constructor will receive a certificate of accreditation which is valid for 3 years
