Elements Europe Ltd LSF Façade and LSF Cold Rolled Lightweight Steel Structural Framing System

At the basic system components level, the systems employ cold rolled galvanised c-sections for walls studs, floor joists, roof panels and to fabricate lattice joists.

The LSF Façade system is designed to be incorporated within the structural building frame designed and constructed by others. LSF Façade is designed carry cladding loadings and wind loading and ensure their transmittance to the primary structure.

LSF Structure is an integrated panellised system comprising wall, floor and roof cassettes.

Durability Assessment: Minimum of 60 years

Limits of Scope

  • Maximum 10 storeys for residential use when using the LSF Structure system (no limit for LSF Façade)
  • Bottom members minimum 150mm above external ground level and isolated from damp.
  • Minimum 25mm ventilated cavity behind external wall claddings
  • Adequate sub-floor ventilation must be maintained to the void below the ground floor, in particular where there is no treatment of the ground to prevent moisture entering the void
  • Elements Europe Ltd must be contracted for the design, manufacture, supply and erection of the structures
  • A chartered structural engineer suitably experienced in the design of this type of structure must be sub- contracted for the structural analysis and design

Elements Europe Ltd Modular Volumetric Light Weight Steel Room System

The system comprises panelised load-bearing light steel frame system for walls, floors and ceilings floors, assembled into self-contained room modules for residential buildings up to 10 storeys high, when constructed of all lightweight steel work, and up to 24 storeys high when incorporating hot-rolled steel box sections to provide additional structural integrity.

At the basic system components level, the system employs cold rolled galvanised c-sections for walls studs, floor joists, roof panels and to fabricate lattice joists.

Where loading conditions require, hot rolled steel box sections are used to construct the floor and ceiling perimeter beams, corner posts and any intermediate posts that are required.
