@Home Ltd Timber Framed Modular Building System
Assembled and completed Modules are transported to site and craned onto site constructed foundations and can be stacked up to 3 storeys high. In our facility the floor cassette is assembled first and craned into position the structural walls are then assembled and installed onto the floor Cassette. The ceiling or roof cassette is then assembled and installed onto the structural walls.
Ground Floor cassette specification
Cement particle board structural joists Rockwool insulation and structural deck with the required membrane.
Structural walls specification
Cement particle board structural studs Rockwool insulation and internal fire rated board with the required membrane.
Ceiling cassette specification
Structural deck board structural joists Rockwool insulation and internal fire rated board with the required membrane.
Roof Cassette specification
Structural deck board structural joists Rockwool insulation and internal fire rated board with the required membrane.
Roof finish dependent on client’s specification
An external cladding system is added to the external walls and is mainly carried out prior to delivery to site.
Durability Assessment: minimum 60 years
Limits on scope
- Maximum 3 storeys for residential use subject to structural justification;
- Bottom members in contact with foundations/sub-structure must be fully isolated from contact with moisture from the ground or external sources;
- Minimum 25mm ventilated and drained cavity behind external wall claddings;
- @Home MMC Ltd must be contracted for the design, manufacture, supply and erection of the structure;
- A chartered structural engineer suitably experienced in the design of this type of structure must be sub-contracted for the structural analysis and design.
