Innovare i-SIP Structural Insulated Panel System

The system comprises two skins of 11mm OSB/3 (oriented strand board, type 3) separated by a core of grey expanded polystyrene insulation (EPS) 100E to BS EN 13163 : 2008. The OSB is bonded to the EPS using a two-part polyurethane adhesive. Overall panel thickness ranges from 111mm to 307mm. Panels may be manufactured in increments to 6.0m long and 2.77m wide. Panels are supplied in factory cut shapes and sizes in accordance with the design of the building being constructed, including openings for windows, doors, together with any fixings and jointing pieces as may be required.

Durability Assessment: Minimum of 60 years

Limits of Scope

  • Maximum 4 storeys including room-in-roof Bottom members minimum 150mm above external ground level
  • Minimum 25mm ventilated cavity behind external wall claddings
  • Adequate sub-floor ventilation must be maintained to the void below suspended ground floors (where specified), in particular where there is no treatment of the ground to prevent moisture entering the void
  • Conventional cladding, such as timber cladding, should have a minimum 25mm drained and ventilated back cavity
  • Detailing should be considered to minimise the risk of water entering the structure at vulnerable junctions, for example window jamb/sill junctions
  • Innovare Systems Ltd must be contracted for the design, manufacture, supply and erection of the structure

Innovare Offsite Ltd i-Fast Structural Wall Panel System

The system comprises an outer facing board of 12mm Calcium Silicate board, treated softwood studding and an inner facing board of 12mm Siltech A1 rated Calcium Silicate board.

Insulation comprises Rockwool Flexi A1 rated stone wool insulation. Overall panel thickness ranges from 113mm to 258mm.

Panels are supplied in factory cut shapes and sizes in accordance with the design of the building being constructed, including openings for windows, doors and the like, together with any fixings and jointing pieces as may be required.

Durability Assessment: Minimum of 60 years
