ECO 100 is a standard open-wall construction comprising Protect breather membrane; 9mm OSB sheathing as standard, or 9mm Calcium Silicate or 12.5mm Gypsum Fibreboard sheathing if enhanced fire resistance is required; 45x95mm studs at nominal 600mm centres. 95mm mineral/rock wool insulation between the studs; Protect VC Foil Ultra reflective vapour control/air control layer; timber battens at the stud locations to form a service zone.
ECO 200 is a closed-wall panel, comprising: fibre cement cladding board; timber battens to form a ventilated cavity; Protect breather membrane; 9mm OSB sheathing as standard, or 9mm Calcium Silicate or 12.5mm Gypsum Fibreboard sheathing if enhanced fire resistance is required; 45 x 195mm studs at 600mm nominal centres 195mm rock fibre insulation between the studs; Protect VC Foil Ultra reflective vapour control/air control layer; timber battens at the stud locations to form a service zone
Durability Assessment: Minimum of 60 years
Limits of Scope
- Maximum 4 storeys for residential use.
- Bottom members minimum 150mm above external ground level.
- Adequate sub-floor ventilation must be maintained to the void below the ground floor, in particular where there is no treatment of the ground to prevent moisture entering the void.
- Erected panels must be protected from moisture to maintain service life.
- LoCal Homes must be contracted for the design, manufacture, and supply of the structure.
- A chartered structural engineer suitably experienced in the design of this type of structure must be sub-contracted for the structural analysis and design
