Description of the Vision Built Volumetric Building System

Vision Built Limited supply Turn-Key volumetric buildings for Education and Healthcare development and construction projects. The modules are to be constructed offsite at their facility, before delivery to specified sites throughout Ireland and the UK to provide Education, Healthcare and Residential accommodation in low to medium rise multiple occupancy facilities up to 6 storeys.

The system is formed using hot rolled steel end frames which typically consist of 80×80/6.3 SHS posts with top and bottom members of 150 x 75 x18 PFC which are fully welded together, the remainder of the portal frame typically consists of 200 x 90 x 30 beams with 150 x75 x18 cross members with 80 x 80 x 6.3 intermediate steel posts to give the module structural stability. The floor, walls and roof are infilled with Light Gauge Steel (LGS) Panels formed in the factory from coils using their own specialist roll former to produce sections and profiles as appropriate. The wall studs are produced to BS EN 10346:2005 from steel type G390GD + Z275. For severe environmental conditions the galvanised coating can be increased to Z450 or Z600. The cold rolled steel elements are certified to SCI NHBC Stage 1.

Durability Assessment: minimum 60 years
